About the Artists:
Ana Sisnett is a poet, visual artist and activist. Her published works include the children's books "Granny Jus' Come" and "Two Mrs Gibsons". Iya Omi Oni has over 30 years of experience in performance. She is the former director of Ibu Ayan, an ensemble of female musicians dancers and singers and has also presented programs through the Arts in Education Program, Young Audiences, Alliance for Education as well as many schools and universities throughout the United States. She is also a recording artist and composer.
